SAIPRC Seeking Manager of Cost Sharing and Policy

State-Amtrak Intercity Passenger Rail Committee (SAIPRC), a public agency that is funded by Congress, is seeking to hire a Manager of Cost Sharing and Policy.  The Manager will be responsible for (a) coordinating a subcommittee (of states, Amtrak, and FRA), (b) managing the ongoing refinement of SAIPRC’s cost-sharing policy, and (c) overseeing how SAIPRC addresses disputes and technical questions. SAIPRC is looking for exceptional candidates with project management experience, strong communication skills, the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, and sufficient analytical skills to support discussions around how best to share costs for passenger rail service. The Manager is intended to be a more senior member of SAIPRC staff, with at least 5-10 years of experience (but flexible), who can participate in strategic planning for the organization’s growth. The position can be based in DC or New York.
